Engineering Summer School: Ignition

Y12 Students from across Greater Manchester are invited to become a Salford engineering student, living the student experience, becoming part of a race team, constructing a remote-controlled car all the way from concept design through to physical construction. Teams will then face off in a finale of racing challenges on our mini racetrack to crown the winners of Ignition 2025. Students will spend three days together on campus, bringing their ideas to life and meeting current university students.
