War of the Words

‘War of the Words!’ is an 1-hour in-school workshop that focuses on presentation skills, public speaking and raising confidence. Learners will explore what confidence looks like, how to adapt tone to suit different audiences, how to react to stress/nerves, and what the ingredients are for a powerful speech.
Learners will:
- Recognise which subjects can support or advantage life goals
- Develop skills and strategies to apply in exams and assessments
- Be aware of what they need to achieve to progress
