Webinar: Supporting Young Carers in education

This online webinar for teachers and advisors will teach you about what it means to be a young carer, how to identify them in school and learn about where you can signpost or access support for young carers.

The session will include presentations from the following speakers:

• Kelly Hockaday from Manchester Council will present on the Manchester model of working with young carers, identifying young carers in schools and supporting learners
• Louise Robinson from Manchester Metropolitan University and Megan Drew from The University of Salford will detail how young carers can share they are a carer with universities and the support available at HE
