About the event

This is a one-day event allowing your ASD learners and those with other learner support needs the opportunity to explore what support is available should they wish to go to university.
Students will take part in a session developed by our learner support team, highlighting what support is available and how this helps students. They’ll also have the opportunity to take part in team building and other development activities.
Learners will:
- Discover the benefits of HE and find out what it’s like to study at university/in HE.
- Gain an understanding about the pathways into HE.
- Find out about student support in HE.
This session also aims to increase learners’ motivation for higher education (HE) and increase capacity to make informed decisions about their future.
GM Higher will need to record the participation of learners in line with our funding requirements, so we will ask you to provide a register.
