During this session, learners will get to grips with how higher education (HE) looks and feels, as well as sampling the world of languages and where it can take them. The immersive experience aims to build passion, inspire learners and give them the information they need to make informed decisions about their future.
Students will take part in language and HE sessions, as well as explore the campus facilities via a Student Ambassador-led tour. Our language session focuses on the benefits of taking a second language as a qualification and outlines future education and career pathways.
After the session, learners will:
- Have increased motivation to study in HE.
- Have increased confidence in their studies.
- Become familiar with learning and teaching approaches in HE.
- Be aware of the HE subject areas and the range of possible study opportunities.
