Want to discover more about the world of science; get in on some biology and chemistry action; or unlock the secrets of life sciences? If that’s a big fat yes, our ‘Scientific You’ summer school is just the ticket.  

Get ready to dive headfirst into one of the largest research-led science faculties around. You can check out a bunch of subject tasters in all kinds of fields, and get schooled from our expert academic staff along the way.

Joining us at our city centre campus you’ll:

• Get hands-on experience by taking part in lab-based activities.
• Familiarise yourself with the campus while embarking on a group-led quest.
• Get a taste of uni life by crashing overnight in our student halls, where you’ll get your very own private bedroom.
• Hang out with new friends from all over Greater Manchester at our evening activities.
• Find out what you need to know about higher education and your future options.

You’ll have support from our friendly crew of Student Ambassadors. These are current Manchester Met students, so you’ll hear their firsthand experience of university life.
