A Guide to Student Finance and Disabled Students’ Allowance (parent/carer session)

A Guide to Student Finance and Disabled Students’ Allowance (parent/carer session)

About the event

This session will cover all things student finance. We’ll give the facts on how much money students can receive as a loan, information about bursaries and scholarships and any additional financial support they may be eligible for. We’ll also touch on loan repayments. The second part of the session will explain what Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) is and the forms that need to be completed to ensure all the support is in place before starting the higher education journey.

Suitable for parents/carers of learners who are currently in Year 12 – 13.

The session will take place on Microsoft Teams and a link will be shared with you ahead of the session.

Please note, these sessions are for parents and carers to individually book onto rather than school bookings. If you’d like to discuss a school or college booking for a parent/carer event, please contact your Hub Manager
