Manchester Museum Careers Takeover – AM Session

As part of Careers Week, we’ll be opening up the museum for a careers showcase where learners can find out about some of the different roles that, together, make Manchester Museum – from curators and conservators to marketing, design and social media.

Through attending career zones in the museum, students will have a chance to find out more about the different roles from the people who do them. Learners will engage with career activities such as CV and application writing and interview workshops.

As well as increasing learners’ knowledge of career and future options, this session aims to increase learners’ attitude to learning, motivation and capacity to make informed decisions.

GM Higher will need to record the participation of learners in line with our funding requirements, so we will ask you to provide a register.
