An Audience with a Magician

This engaging and innovative workshop will enthuse your learners, whether they have done public speaking before or not. Professional Magician, Sam Lowe, will cover tricks and tips for public speaking, building confidence and resilience, from the perspective of a performer. Learners discover how performance and public speaking are key in a successful Higher Education journey and will watch entertaining magic tricks, learning how to perform a trick themselves.

Workshop learning outcomes:

1. List and explain the 5 key skills of public speaking.
2. Identify where you will use public speaking skills.
3. Demonstrate some of the public speaking skills during and after the session.
