Forum Talent - Case Studies

GM Higher commissioned Forum Talent Potential to deliver a CPD programme for Careers Leaders from a small number of schools in the academic year 2018-19. The innovative approach enables teachers and school leaders to help young people develop their skills, aspirations and motivation by bringing subject learning ‘to life’ in partnership with local employers. Essentially, the programme helps young people see the point of working hard at school by considering life beyond school.

From the six schools who took part, 17 employer-linked curriculum projects were delivered and fully completed with KS3+4 students. Case studies have been created for each project to help inspire more teachers to develop similar employer-linked curriculum projects.
