Criminology is the study of crime and those who commit it, and criminologists try to figure out why crime occurs so that it can be prevented.

This session is for for those who have an enquiring mind and are interested in understanding why criminals commit their crimes and how and why the criminal justice attempts to deal with crime then studying criminology will develop understanding of the behavioural, social, psychological and legal aspects of crime.
