The Big Brain Box

Event providers: The University of Manchester

Event Fallback Image

Based on the concept of escape rooms, the Big Brain Box is a game that challenges the players to solve a series of riddles and puzzles to unlock messages about human memory and the brain.

Players will work with a booklet, a set of riddle cards and a decoder, and will have to use their creativity, problem solving and teamwork skills to find the right answers to the riddles in the box.

The game ends with an open question which will be discussed with the players, aiming to develop their critical thinking and to make them aware that research has not answered all the questions about why and how people learn, remember and forget things.

This is a 2.5 hour workshop.
