Event Fallback Image

Tech2Terminal will engage your learners and teach them about implementation of technology within the airport. The day begins with learners focusing on what makes a successful project. We explore with experts in the field, theory such as planning, understanding, and consideration of the business change requirement, as well as the process of continuous improvement (CI). The morning also entails activities that allow the students to implement some of the theory they have learnt utilising their own skills.

Learners then go on a tour of the new terminal where they can see for themselves the high standard and innovative technology being used at Manchester airports and how this impacts efficiencies and passenger experience for both colleagues, and passengers. This day focuses on the practical aspects of technology and being able to see it live in a business setting!

Finally, we then enter an afternoon ‘challenge’ activity around coding/data. These are key areas of Technology at an airport,  particularly in a time of Transformation and what we call, creating ‘smart cities’. We welcome your learners to take part in this fantastic day and hope they truly see the art of the possible, not just in an airport setting, but in themselves and their own future careers.

Please note lunch is not provided therefore, all visitors must bring a packed lunch.
