The University of Bolton is proud to announce that the project will be running in Bolton for the first time in February and we would like to invite you to nominate looked after children in your school to take part!

What is it?- Success4Life is an aspiration and confidence raising project aimed at looked after young people. Each week young people take part in a range of engaging and interactive activities intended to raise their awareness of Higher Education and their options, as well as life skills, wellbeing, team building and confidence workshops.

Who is it for?– Looked After Children in Bolton and the surrounding areas, in Years 8 and 9. It’s important that the young people involved understand that although this is a project for Looked After Children, it will not focus on their past – but on their futures and all the options which are open to them.

Where?– The project will meet at our main reception at the University of Bolton, Deane Road, Bolton, BL3 5AB- https://www.bolton.ac.uk/resources/pdfs/HowToFindUsMainReception.pdf

When? – The 7 week project runs weekly on Tuesdays from 4-6, beginning on on 22nd February, and ending in a Graduation celebration on 29th March. There will also be a full day University visit to The University of Manchester during the Easter Break on 5th April.

Transport: We need Carers to support this exciting project by ensuring that their children arrive at the venue on time and are picked up at the appropriate finish time.
