Study Healthcare
Event providers: The University of Manchester

Study Healthcare is a series of live and pre-recorded online sessions aimed at Year 11 and Year 12 students who are interested in Biology, Chemistry and/or Healthcare Sciences. These sessions will be delivered by members of staff, current students and alumni from the University of Manchester’s Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health.
As part of the programme, students will have unlimited access to a video library where they will find videos on specific healthcare areas – Nursing, Pharmacy, Audiology, Speech and Language Therapy, Optometry and Midwifery. These videos are meant to raise awareness of the different areas of healthcare and inspire students to pursue these professions. As well as the online library, students in the programme will be able to attend different live sessions online, including scenario-based workshops, alumni Q&As and student ambassador panels. The programme is designed to allow for flexibility and therefore each event is a standalone session. Students are not required to attend all sessions.
