School of Digital Art -Digital UG Curriculum Launch – Teachers and FE Professionals

We are launching our new state of the art School of Digital Arts (SODA). This interdisciplinary purpose built school will use cutting edge technology to drive innovation across all creative subjects at one of the UK’s leading universities. We believe this will be of great interest to your students as they prepare to make the transition into higher education. On Tuesday 20th October at 5pm (via Zoom) we will be holding a digital launch to introduce the school, the vast array of subjects available and how we developed the curriculum and we would like you to be part of it.
The School of Digital Arts is an interdisciplinary school at Manchester Metropolitan University – a £35m investment into the workspaces, facilities, networks, teaching and research that will drive the next generation of creative content.
Opening in 2021, our students will study courses including, Animation, Filmmaking, Future Media Production, Games Art, Games Design, Music and Sound Design, Photography, and Web and User Experience Design, often working on live projects with industry partners, frequently collaborating with fellow students and researchers.
The event is expected to last between 75 -90 minutes. An overview is as follows:
