2021 Russell Group Teachers’ and Advisers’ Conference

The 2021 Russell Group Teachers’ and Advisers’ Conference will be taking place this summer online on Wednesday, 16 June 2021 between 3.15pm and 6pm.

This free event which is being coordinated by Advancing Access will help teachers and advisers to support their students in progressing to some of the UK’s most selective universities.

Attendees will be able to:

  • access webinars;
  • visit the exhibition hall – there will be a stall for each of the 24 Russell Group universities with staff members who can answer your questions;
  • submit questions on the Q&A forum and get them answered by a panel of experts.

> The employability benefits of attending a selective university – presented by Cardiff University and the University of Exeter
> UCAS for beginners: Top tips and insight into university admissions and the UCAS application process – presented by the University of Liverpool and the University of York
> UCAS update – presented by Sam Sykes, Lead Digital Learning Developer at UCAS
> Supporting disadvantaged learners to progress to university – presented by the Newcastle University and the University of Sheffield
> Supporting students in England, Wales or Northern Ireland to apply to university in Scotland – presented by the University of Edinburgh and the University of Glasgow
