Routes to HE Fair

Event providers: Greater Manchester Higher

Come and find out about the different routes into Higher Education to gain a degree.

At this Routes to HE Fair you will have the opportunity to explore universities and colleges that offer degree level study. You will also meet employers and current apprentices to find out more about Higher/Degree Apprenticeships. There will be approximately 20 universities and colleges in attendance along with a number of employers to discuss the apprenticeship route with. Take part in games and activities with our student ambassadors to experience student life.

If you want to help yourself stand out from the crowd when applying for a university or apprenticeship, then you may want to take advantage of signing up for an enrichment activity or working for a charity. We have Outward Bound, Duke of Edinburgh, NCS and St John’s Ambulance to name just a few.

Learn about careers in STEM and Creative Industries with interactive activities. There is an opportunity to talk to Graduate’s in our Graduate Panel on their educational journey and how they have got to where they are today.

Drop into a talk on Higher/Degree Apprenticeships supported by current Degree Apprentices who will tell you about their experience and what it is like to study and work at the same time.

Concerned about Student Finance? Don’t worry, we have a talk for that too. Find out the facts and remove those concerns you may have around tuition fees and loans.

This will be a great event with lots of opportunities to explore and find out about the pathways into Higher Education to help you to acheive your dream career!
