Pursuing Politics and History

Event providers: University of Salford

In this on campus experience students will examine the importance of history and politics to all societies. They will investigate primary sources as evidence and debate key political and international issues using briefings in a model parliament or model United Nations scenario. Learners will realise how important history, politics and international relations are to them as individuals on a daily basis. With a campus experience and trained and enthusiastic experts hosting these sessions this is an inspirational experience for students.

Activities might include:

  • Hands on History, getting active with sources
  • Mock Parliament, Debate & Vote
  • Model United Nations

Activity provided will be dependent on staff availability. We are able to provide these events on topics more bespoke to your curricular but please give at least one month notice in order for us to prepare.

Campus visit will include Politics/History Workshop, campus tour, lunch & HE workshop
