Event Fallback Image

This introductory visit day offers a gentle, principal overview of higher education (HE) and information about specific support. Learners will have the chance to meet university students who have similar backgrounds, and can talk about their own experiences and share an insight into student life.

This event is for learners in school years 7-9, who are on the Autistic Spectrum, and would benefit from an university visit that is designed to be audience appropriate.

This day provides an overview of higher education (HE) options and the various pathways into HE. The day is tailored to include specific information on student support and wellbeing services. This day does not focus on Student Finance or university entry requirements.

The day will include:
• An introduction to HE
• An interactive workshop focussed on HE pathways
• A guided campus tour
• A talk on Disability Support
