Mother Tongue Other Tongue 2023 Competition Launch: Online CPD Webinar
‘Mother Tongue Other Tongue’ is an annual competition for 8-18 year olds that invites pupils to share poems or songs from their mother tongue or from a language they are learning.
Led by Manchester Poetry Library at Manchester Metropolitan University, the competition is free and open to all. The event is aimed at anyone wishing to run the project in their school or community setting, and will give you resources and ideas which can be used directly in classrooms, online or in groups. It is perfect CPD for English and MFL teachers, Learning Resource Managers or group facilitators.
Those who sign up will be given a video link to use afterwards, so you can schedule your in-house CPD to suit your own timetable.
