MedReach E-Mentoring Scheme
Event providers: The University of Manchester

MedReach Manchester are running an online e-mentoring scheme which aims to target Year 12 students who want to study medicine, dentistry, pharmacy or optometry at university, but do not necessarily have the support and guidance needed to make an application. The programme will begin from March and run until the end of interview cycles, during which you will be paired with a current University of Manchester undergraduate medical student. They will be able to provide advice related to work experience, personal statements, tackling ethical situations, interview preparation etc.
Eligibility
Please note that in order to be eligible, you must fulfil one or more of the following criteria:
- First person in your family (excluding siblings) to go to university
- Qualify for free school meals
- Have experience of living in local authority care
- Have a disability
Priorty will be given to those who fulfil more than one criteria.
