Students will watch a demonstration given by current tutors/higher education students or will engage in a topic of discussion in the related field. There will then be a live Q+A, where your students will have the opportunity to ask questions about the topic, as well as wider questions about what it is like to study make-up artistry at degree level, work in the industry etc.
How to attach a lace front wig, led by Anthony Roban- an industry specialist with 28 years’ experience in film, TV and theatre. Anthony has spent many years working and leading the wig departments of various West End shows including Starlight Express, Phantom of the Opera, Billy Elliott, Mama Mia and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He has also worked for a bespoke design hair specialist that caters for Hollywood productions, Broadway musicals, West End musicals and celebrities in television, music and entertainment and will share what it takes to pursue a career as a wig specialist.
Suitable for year groups: 11, 12, 13 (Once a term, this can be opened up to year 10)
