Insight to Health Innovation
Event providers: University of Bolton

In March 2021, Greater Manchester Combined Authority published their Local Skills Report & Labour Market Plan. On page 14 the report highlights ‘Health Innovation’ as a frontier sector ‘fundamental to Greater Manchester’s future economic wellbeing’. Through Greater Manchester Higher, The University of Bolton will host an event centred around different aspects of health, healthcare and health innovation. ‘Insight to Health Innovation’ will highlight this sector to local young people who may be exploring their future education and career pathways.
Friday 20th May 9.30am – 12.45pm
The University of Bolton’s event day will focus on the practical elements of a career in healthcare and where different higher education options may take you with attendees getting a chance to hear from leading academics, take part in hands-on workshops and have the chance to network with professionals from different areas of healthcare and current students.
There will also be representatives from the Greater Manchester Health & Social Care Careers Hub.
