Event providers: The University of Manchester
The University of Manchester and The University of Bolton will host ‘Insight to Health Innovation’ events. These events will highlight ‘Health Innovation’ as an emerging career path to local young people who may be exploring their future education and career pathways.
The University of Manchester event (held on Wednesday 1st February) will focus on the impact of research within health innovation as well as explore how the wider world of STEM can intertwine with the healthcare sector. Attendees will get the chance to take part in hands-on workshops as well as hear more about life as a researcher at University. Attendees will get the chance to network with working professionals and current University students.
This event is perfect for learners who are interested in all STEM subjects and those interested in healthcare careers who are in Year 12/College Year 1 or Year 13/College Year 2.
Learners will sign up individually and will attend unaccompanied (not with a parent/carer or teacher). On the booking form, learners are asked to put the name and contact email of a teacher who they must seek permission from before signing up.
