About the event

Ignition – Working in the Morson Maker Space and The University of Salford racing team, our Ignition summer school will give students an insight into Engineering and Design at University. Students will team up to design and build their own remote-controlled race car that will be put through its paces on the final day in our exciting championship races. Over the three days, they will also get to live like a student, including staying in halls and participating in evening activities. Students will get the opportunity to chat about life at university with our current student ambassadors who will be with them for the duration of the programme.
