Fancy an insight into the hair and make-up industry?

Come along, it’s going to be fun!!

During this taster day, you have been hired to produce the hair and makeup for a cosmetics advertisement.

The theme of the advertisement is ‘Sensational Seasons.’

You must select one of the four seasons: spring, summer, autumn or winter to create a make-up and hair look.

We want you to come prepared with a mood board of ideas for hair and makeup that you want to create that are in keeping with the season that you select.

Your look can be as natural or as creative as you want it to be!

• For hygiene purposes, you are encouraged to bring with you your own makeup kit, hair kit, skincare, brushes etc.
• We will provide any hot hair tools such as GHD’s, curling tongs, rollers etc. We will also supply all consumables.

The day will include:

• Demo of SFX by a specialist tutor
• Gain insight into the HE course
• A practical workshop with photoshoot (useful for your own portfolio)
