Flight of the Drones

A fun and engaging activity were students will learn about the many applications of drones and the future of Drone technology in Engineering. They will consider the future applications of drones and the importance of the role they play in health & safety before testing their own flying skills in the ‘Drone Zone’! A great have-a-go activity which links in all the benefits of HE, courses which link into drone technology and the potential careers available to them.

Requirements for delivery

  • a classroom
  • large indoor or outdoor space to fly the drones
  • maximum of 30 students per session for 60 minute workshop
  • can also be run as a 2 hour workshop with maximum of 15 students

Please note: sessions are delivered by teaching staff therefore some days and times of the year can be difficult to fulfill requests.
