Explore Salford days provide an interactive insight into a specific subject area alongside a wider programme of activity. As part of each day, learners will go on a campus tour and see first-hand where students live, work and relax as well as the great facilities that the University of Salford has to offer. Current students will be on-hand throughout the day to answer any questions about University life.

Mooting is the oral presentation of a legal issue or problem against an opposing counsel and before a judge. It is perhaps the closest experience that a student can have to appearing in court. It’s also a great way to practice essential skills like preparing an argument and speaking to an audience.

Learners will engage in a contemporary mooting problem with current students of the University of Salford, who will then demonstrate a live moot in action.

There will be the opportunity to ask questions to the students at the end of the session.

There are two dates available for this event:

  • Thursday 25th March, 10-11am
  • Friday 16th April, 1-2pm
