Event providers: University of Salford

Event Fallback Image

Explore Salford days provide an interactive insight into a specific subject area alongside a wider programme of activity. As part of each day, learners will go on a campus quest either in person or virtually and see first-hand where students live, work and relax as well as the great facilities that the University of Salford has to offer. Current students will be on-hand throughout the day to answer any questions about University life.

Explore English includes taster sessions in English Language, English Literature and Creative Writing, enabling learners to find out more about the different approaches to studying English, how important it is to develop their own creative writing skills and some of the key skills involved in analysing texts. Learners will also be able to explore some of the key ideas around developing characters within fiction. Ideal for learners who love fiction and/or poetry, creative thinkers and those with a passion for storytelling.
