Held at Eureka Halifax! What is Early Years and the importance of high quality Early Years practitioners and provision? This taster event provides students with an insight into the roles of an EYP practitioner who support young children and babies for the best start in life. The day will consist of an introduction to EYP and HE pathways, roles and responsibilities within a Nursery environment and child development session. Students will learn about child development and how ‘Disco Dough’ can be a fun activity for little ones which combines the use of play dough with a series of hand and finger exercises. They will learn how this activity is designed to improve fine muscle control and gross motor dexterity, hand-eye coordination and self-esteem. Students will also get the opportunity to get hands-on and explore the museum.
