Event providers: Salford City College

Event Fallback Image

Digital Crown Court offers students the opportunity to gain an understanding of what life is really like as a lawyer. This workshop consists of two sessions; the first is led by teachers where students will receive case study notes and prepare the prosecution and defence arguments to be heard in a ‘mock trial’. Session two is led by senior criminal lawyer John Hera who will provide students with an account of his professional career and explain the different pathways into the law industry before presiding over the prosecution and defence arguments that students have prepared in the aforementioned ‘mock trial’.

This is a fantastic opportunity for all students who are interested in pursuing a career in law.
