The Introduction to Coding session will explore and cover the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create a webpage with modern UX/UI principles implemented.
By the end of the session, learners will have created an ‘About Me’ webpage using HTML & CSS. Learners will also explore the potential uses of JavaScript on their webpage. Learners will also
explore industry standard User Experience & User Interface standards and will implement these into their projects.
The session will cover:
• The basics of Coding
• What are IDEs?
• What is HTML?
• HTML Tags & Attributes
• What is CSS?
• How can we use CSS to style our webpage?
• UX/UI best practice

Learners will hear about the various higher education courses and careers within coding.
