Childhood and Play – Affects of the Covid-19 Pandemic

Are your students interested in a career with Young children or Early Years? This workshop will explore how the Childcare sector has been hit and dealt with the current Covid-19 Pandemic. In particular, the UCEN tutors will focus on how the adaptations of play have been shaped in particular, the Outdoor Play. Students will engage in discussions, debates, videos and elements of recorded/live content. Students will explore theories and practices that are relevant today. There will be Q+A Panel at the end of the session with the tutors and GM Higher staff.
Suitable for year groups: 12, 13.
2 hour online workshop via MS Teams
Available: 21st and 22nd June (Slots either 9am – 11am or 1pm – 3pm, both days). You only book onto one session of your choice. The sessions are being repeated 4 times over the 2 days.
