A very hands on practical day with lots of interactive activities. Learners part take in various workshops including, flight simulator experience, hearing from a range of experienced roles within the aviation sector, learners may also find out how pilots would communicate in a real life with the air traffic control team. The day will include workshop that informs you on what higher education qualifications you can study to work within the aviation sector.

• Operating the aircraft doors;
• PA’s & pre-flight safety demonstrations;
• Emergency evacuation procedures;
• Pilot incapacitation;
• Fire & smoke training;
• Evacuation slide drills (with life jackets);
• On board drink service;
• On-board medical emergencies;
• Lifesaving, resuscitation & first aid;
• Customer service (check in) role play scenarios;
• Narrated line flight (Boeing 737-800);
• Individual flight circuits (take off/landing);
• Virtual reality experiences.
