Geography booster: The Tipsy Pachiderm Society Annual Meeting

Event providers: University Campus Oldham

World globes in various sizes and one in black

This session is similar to an Escapes room/Mystery rooms online event with fun/engaging challenges delivered by characters online.

The Tipsy Pachiderm Society is a group of Adventurers who travel the world seeking enlightenment and knowledge from the world around them. While they are quite brilliant inventors, constructing incredible clockwork mechanisms to power their travelling machines and day to day lives, they are rather naïve about the world around them and often get confused.

Sent out by the Club Chair, Dame Cordelia Bassoon we visit 6 different club members in the field reporting on the latest findings that they are struggling to record or understand. Perhaps the society newcomers can help…..

The challenge will incorporate a mixture of live and recorded footage to present tasks aligned with the GCSE Geography syllabus in the proportions:
2 Physical Geography tasks.
2 Human Geography tasks.
2 Tasks regarding investigative methodology in Geography.
