The National Skills Challenge

The National Skills Challenge in partnership with NatWest– The National Skills Challenge has been developed to address the skills gap amongst young people I transition from college to the world of HE and work.

The challenge sees student groups of three work on various ‘Apprentice’ style tasks set by New partners UCFB. Each challenge must be completed by the ‘deadline’ with penalties awarded if deadlines are not hit helping prepare students for the world of University deadlines.

Developed using the Gatsby Recommendations the challenge see the students harness their soft skills, including; teamwork, communication and leadership over the course of the college day.
