Learners will interact with technology to understand the underpinning factors of Games Development and Creative Media. Suited to those with a strong interest and some prior knowledge, as learners will explore more advanced practice, inteding to bridge the gap between FE and HE study. Learners will enjoy an overview of software used and its importance to the video game production pipeline, with a brief example of student work being exhibited. This continues with the creation of a 3D Asset, texturing the Asset, rendering the asset, and creating a studio lighting scene within 3DS Max. Learners can take the file home and print off their render, and a similar asset will be 3D printed during the session. There will also be a model Critique and Q&A session.
