Description

A fun and engaging carousel of STEM subjects and activities for learners to experience and see the exciting career opportunities available to them in the future. Students will get to sample a variety of STEM related workshops including:

Civil Engineering: A Bridge too far? Bridge design challenge

Mechanical Engineering: The Rise of the Drones

Electrical Engineering: The Dobot Challenge

Science: Projectile Motion Rocket Launch – It is rocket science!

Computer Science: Ethical Programming – it’s all in the algorithm

Construction: Get Connected – Electricity & water in a constructed world

There will also be the opportunity to speak to employers and apprentices in our Employer Market Place and learners can find out first hand about the world of work, opportunities and developments, future jobs and how to climb the career ladder.
