Description

Explore Salford days provide an interactive insight into a specific subject area alongside a wider programme of activity. As part of each day, learners will go on a campus tour and see first-hand where students live, work and relax as well as the great facilities that the University of Salford has to offer. Current students will be on-hand throughout the day to answer any questions about University life.

Explore Geography is led by the University’s academics and is a hands-on experience enabling students to learn about both physical and human geography. From getting to grips with how to control river systems with a flume system and drones to learning about food security and how to manage cities through a board game, there will be plenty of interactive events on offer. This day is suited for those who are interested in studying Geography at a higher level.
